Original Civil War US canteen & cup. The canteen is free of any dents, smoothside, complete with cloth cover, original sling, stopper & chain. It displays beautifully on one side, the other side is missing approximately .40% of its cover, deteriorated by age. Another bonus is the soldier's drinking cup attached to the canteen via the chain. The cup itself remains in fine condition overall, it may have been added at a later date, nonetheless, a fine looking display.
