Civil War era beautifully hand carved laurel root tobacco pipe. Well-worn from period handling, this attractive old tobacco pipe shows good age and was hand crafted from nicely figured laurel root. The pipe bowl features a grizzly faced bearded figure with a patch over one eye, the subject would fit well into a nautical display as well as a Civil War display. Complete with stem. This pipe will make a nice companion piece with any period grouping.
