Rare 1866 dated U.S. tobacco tin. Wonderful tobacco tin in excellent condition overall, free from any dents/dings. Bearing the original faded tan paper label on front of tin "POUNDS OF / SMOKING TOBACCO, / GEO. C. FENN, / U.S. INSPECTOR OF TOBACCO. / 9TH COLL. DIST. MASS. / 1866.". 7" tall tin can, 6" in diameter, with original lid and wire bale handle. This item displays great for the Civil War enthusiast or collector of early tobacco related material.
