Dug Confederate Wishbone fork-tongue style belt buckle found at Brices Roads, Mississippi. Large buckle 2.5" X 3 3/4". It has a nice brownish patina with greenish tan spots here and there, just as dug. Free moving fork tongue. The verbal history that accompanies the piece is that it was found in a Confederate position at Brices Roads, Mississippi, The battle at Brices Crossroads was fought on June 10, 1864. In very good condition, a wonderful Confederate relic.
