Early battlefield pick-up model 1860 Colt Army revolver. It is all complete and still has a working action! Metal overall is surface pitted with a smooth rust coating. All markings, including serial #'s are gone. Grips are weathered. The only replacement part I see is someone put a wedge in it to hold it together.
Complete battlefield relics such as this are all in museums, you don't come across these every day. All I know is that it came out of New York. Really neat looking relic!
