Colt Dragoon model 1848 percussion Uberti production revolver. Serial #03778 matching, unfired, excellent overall condition. .44 caliber, part round, part octagon barrel, heavy weight revolver. Metal overall retains .100% factory blue finish. Frame, hammer, rammer and recoil retain vivid case colors. Backstrap and triggerguard .100% silver. .100% crisp detailed cylinder scene. Underside of barrel stamped CAL. 44 BLACK POWDER ONLY. Top barrel flat stamped ALLEN F.A. MFG. CO.-SANTA FE N.M.. The frame is stamped on the left side with the Uberti markings. The walnut grips are in excellent condition. Mechanics are tight. A nice eye-catcher for the centerpiece of a display.
