Fine+ Colt Lightning model 1877, Sheriff's model with no ejector housing, serial #34506 matching, 1882 manufacture, 6-shot. Bright, shiny crisply rifled 3.5" fine+ bore. Metal shows .85% original bright nickle finish. A little flaking on 2 cylinder channels. Top of barrel with crisp 2-line Colt markings are very clear and distinct, in addition to left side of barrel with vivid etched panel "COLT. D.A. 38". Left side of frame with clear 3-line patent dates. Rear of triggerguard stamped "38 CAL". Mechanics are crisp and tight in both DA & SA. The grips have sharp checkering and exhibit only slight wear on risen areas. These "Sheriff" model Colt's have always been highly collectible, fine overall, much better than average.
