U.S. Coast Guard Flare Gun. Not definitely sure in dating this piece, but I have seen one other reference to WWII. Mechanics are excellent. .100% chrome plating remaining. Left side stamped "USCG APPROV. / NO 160 (028/6/3) / SIGNAL PYROTECHNIC CO. /LOS ANGELES / PT 2-68 / 15877". Original 25" braided lanyard attached to bottom of handle. Heave flare gun.
