Colt .45 caliber single action Peacemaker revolver. Serial #172703 matching, correct un-numbered cylinder, manufactured in 1897. Colt Peacemaker revolver in very good+ condition overall. Metal overall is a smooth, gun metal grey patina. 2-line patent dates on left side of frame and Colt rampart very clear. Top of barrel 2-line barrel address "COLT'S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD CT. U.S.A.", all there, crisp. 4 5/8" barrel with distinct ".45 COLT" on left side. The bore is very good. The mechanics are perfect, original hammer. The grips are original, fine and correct rampart Colt grips, one small abrasion toward the bottom of the right grip panel. A classic cowboy six-shooter handgun of the Old West, .100% original and complete.
