Excellent+ condition scarce Civil War Freeman Army .44 caliber revolver. Manufactured 1863-1864, approximately 2,000 made. This is an exceptionally fine example. Serial #926. Bore is excellent. Gun has approximately .97% original factory blue. Hammer shows original case colors as well. Mechanics work perfectly. Excellent barrel markings. Wood grips are fine, left panel has a few surface marks on the bottom, right panel exhibits a stress crack on the lower back edge, hardly noticeable. It would be difficult to upgrade.
