High-hump lockplate stamped "1861 RICHMOND, VA.". .58 caliber percussion carbine with 25.5" barrel, metal is dark and stained, legible markings, very good mechanics, walnut stock is solid and aged to appear period. Barrel bands have off-set "U". Brass buttplate and nosecap. Complete with swivels and ramrod. Well made with a good look.
