Original and nice condition scarce Confederate linen & leather rifle shoulder sling. Here is an original scarce piece that is seldom encountered on the loose and hard to obtain. An original linen and leather shoulder sling for a Confederate military rifle. This is the style that was designed by the Southerners for their guns. Total length is 37 1/4" and would fit on any southern made rifle. Construction is of linen with stitched leather band to reinforce the length of the adjustment holes. The overall condition is fine with simple age handling wear. With brass hook at one end, the leather keeper is missing. Grab this one as it is beyond scarce.
