.31 caliber, 2-cavity brass bullet mold, 4 3/4" in length. This brass mold is marked "COLT'S PATENT" on the front. An early mold made without the iron sprue cutter, with 2 cavities for the ball and conical bullets. Overall condition is very good, uncleaned brass. This would be a great addition for a Colt 1849 Pocket model casing without a mold.
