Confederate Kerr revolver, exported to the Confederacy in large numbers during the Civil War, this single-action, 5-shot percussion revolver was manufactured by the London Armoury Company based in London, England. These revolvers were privately purchased by many Confederate officers and were considered a choice sidearm of the South during the Civil War. The metal overall is a smooth dove-tail age patina. All markings are present, but worn. I can't make out the serial #. One-piece walnut grips still retain checkering and "J S over Anchor" is quite clear. Left grip has an old 3/4" chip at the top that has become worn over smooth from age handling wear. There is also a slight negligible surface crack near the screw hole. The right grip has a very well-done chip replacement at the inner-bottom-top. Mechanics are very good. Original lanyard swivel ring present. Here is your chance to own one of these classic Confederate revolvers.
