Colt Model 1860 Army percussion revolver in very good condition overall. U.S. government issue, sub inspector's initials overall on metal components. Serial #75261 matching, including wedge, 1862 manufacture. Metal is a smooth dark grey-brown aged patina overall. .44 cal bore is very good+ with sharp grooves, mechanics are tight. Cylinder scene is a dark .40-.50%. Has an original 8" barrel with clear Colt's one-line barrel address, wearing somewhat thin at "AMERICA". Original 2-piece wood grips have a nice age-handling look, visible cartouche on right grip. Colt's patent marking on left side of frame. Iron backstrap, untouched brass triggerguard, cut for shoulder stock. A classic U.S. Civil War sidearm.
