Civil War cased matted tintype of a fully-armed federal infantryman. Carte-de-viste sized tintype of a Federal infantryman, full standing view of this foot soldier dressed in his infantry frock, kepi and full set of leather accouterments. His musket is steadied at his side with the bayonet attached. His face has been color tinted. Plates are also visible. There is a bit of emulsion loss to the lower portion of the image, but the emulsion does appear stable to the remainder of the image. This one comes housed in a full leatherette case with secure hinge and hooks. A nice image in full uniform.
