Beautiful late 19th c. Gambler's sleeve knife. 7 1/4" long, wonderful carved ivory handle depicting a well-done dog's head with collar and shield beneath for identification, but no i.d. carved. Ivory handle is 2.5" in length. Original steel scabbard has 2 inlet holes for wrappings to be secured and be unseen, attached to one's arm under a suit coat sleeve. I have inserted 2 pieces of rawhide strips to show this. Unmarked. A wonderful addition to a gambler's display.
