Civil War U.S. model 1855 bayonet & scabbard. Standard issue bayonet stamped "U.S.". The blade is being protected by the scabbard is very good, the socket has a darker surface patina. The socket ring moves freely. The scabbard is good, tight stitching, leather loss to the surface, belt loop has a couple small cracks.
