Beautiful Civil War Veteran Officer's Slouch Hat. You don't run across these all the time, black wool slouch hat without holes or damage. The black grosgrain ribbon is intact and in place around the crown. The front retains the Grand Army of the Republic hat badge, with an army officer’s cap cord around the crown. The leather interior sweatband is in place, with some minor loss of stitching. Overall the hat is in excellent condition.
