Original 16th c. Spanish Cabasset helmet. The Cabasset is a medieval European helmet, which appeared in Spain during the first half of the 16th century. This example is very good+, dark from age and solid. All rivets are present. The inside retains some light surface rust. Quite heavy. A true piece of medieval history, great for display.
