Circa 1860's - 1870's child's dress, quite rare as being this old children's clothing is usually very worn. Constructed of cotton, outer is black with decorative, colorful designed matching stripes at both cuffs, front to back shoulder pleats and bottom border. Interior is a simple stripe cotton lining. All six original closure hooks still present on front. It measures 27" from top to bottom. A few slight areas of fraying starting on the upper front left, otherwise fine. Simple construction. Would make a great display piece for clothing of the period.
