Original Civil War Confederate "Egg-style" plate with its original frog-leg hooks still intact on the back. This plate is in fine dug condition overall. These style plates were stamped lightly, but this one has clear standing "C S". Also, most of the time these are missing the telegraph wire hooks applied to the back, this one with original hooks intact. This style matches Mullinax plate #136. It is associated with the Army of the Tennessee. This plate was dug at Tyner's Station near Chattanooga by Wayne Williams in 1994.
