Civil War U.S. standard issue oval brass plate with arrow-hooks on back. The face is in very fine condition overall, vivid "U.S." with a pleasing patina to brass. There is an "R" scratched into the lead back. The original belt is full length and complete with brass keeper, supple with spotted flaking overall, solid.
