Killed in Action at Wilderness, VA May 6, 1864, Sergeant Isaiah L. Gordon of the famous 20th Maine Infantry Regiment under command of Colonel Joshua Chamberlain during the siege of Little Round Top, Gettysburg in which Corporal Gordon was present.

Contained in a vintage pasteboard box, his bone ring.  One side of the box in period ink "ISAIAH L. GORDON / CO. F 2ND MAINE.

The other side "MADE FROM BEEF BONES BY SOLDIERS IN THE CIVIL WAR".  The box is sturdy and the ring is excellent.  Accompanied with paperwork on Sergeant Gordon and the 20th Maine Infantry.
