Roster sheet shows 1st Sergeant James M Byers from Washington, PA enlisting 09/13/1862 with the 6th Pennsylvania Infantry, Company 'F'. Barrel and cylinder are a smooth mottled grey, top of barrel and cylinder with clear Smith & Wesson markings. Barrel hinge is tight, no play. Good bore, will clean better.
