Fine+, very well made contemporary flintlock long rifle. Overall length including ramrod 63". .41 caliber with a 46" octagon barrel and fine bore. This particular long rifle has a graceful balance, despite the length of the barrel. It has a beautiful full-length tiger-striped maple stock in exceptional condition overall. Fitted with brass furniture and a pierced brass patchbox, nice age bronze patina. There is a mottled aged brown finish on the barrel and lock which gives an authentic appearance. The lock works very good+. The nose cap is correctly made of very thin sheet brass and it has cracked slightly on the right side at the bend along the barrel channel. Wooden ramrod with brass tip. A great looking flintlock long rifle.
