Civil War .58 caliber cartridge box. Maker marked clearly on inner top flap "BAKER N.Y. McKINNEY". All seams are very good, surface crazing to outer leather overall. Complete with inner tins (inner section dividers intentionally removed), finial and back loops. One buckle missing, as well as closure tab. Has a silvered U.S. front box plate, perhaps for G.A.R. use? Could replace with a standard brass plate if so desired. Priced accordingly.
